Although insurance often covers hospice, it does not fully meet the expenses that make Good Shepherd’s care so special. To continue to be the caring, comforting presence community members need, Good Shepherd depends on the support of the community.
Many caring individuals, businesses, and civic groups make a profound difference in people’s lives by sending generous contributions to Good Shepherd. These gifts are often memorial tributes or given in honor of special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.
Some people set up specially designated funds to help further the work of Good Shepherd. Others designate Good Shepherd in will bequests, trust funds, life insurance policies, or for corporate matching gifts. Yet others show their support through gifts of stock, bonds, or real estate.
