Since 2013, the Good Shepherd Institute Dinner has served as our organization's premier community educational event. This year, we are excited to gather together in person once again, and to announce that Good Shepherd has answered the call from our community to ensure that two essential programs, once run by a different hospice, remain viable and in service to those in need.

In just a few weeks, Good Shepherd will open the doors to its first hospice residence, the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland. Good Shepherd has also recently incorporated the incredible childrens’ grief support program HEARTplay into our broad range of bereavement programs. Sustaining these programs that are offered to our community regardless of ability to pay, requires the dedication of our Good Shepherd staff and the support of our overall community. As such, our 2022 Good Shepherd Institute Dinner has two priorities - we are bringing you the extraordinary keynote speaker of Dr. Abraham Vergheses, and we will be asking you to partner with us to help fund these two beloved community resources by adding a Paddle Raise (also called a Fund-a-Need). When our Emcee asks that you raise your paddle, we hope you will be as generous as possible. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Institute Dinner on October 26.
