About the Pediatric Celebration of Remembrance
The Celebration incorporates music, readings and poetry, and remembrance activities in a service held to honor all the pediatric patients we have cared for since the inception of the Pediatric Palliative and Pediatric Hospice programs. Families who have experienced pediatric loss outside of the Pedi Pal program are also invited to attend. Families are invited to connect with one another and care team members through conversation, refreshments, and light bites.
As part of the celebration, we acknowledge the names of patients who have passed away under our care under the age of 19 and other significant pediatric losses of families currently on Pedi Pal services. All family, friends, and community members are invited to attend.
