Are you ready to take on a bucket list item while making a difference? Good Shepherd Community Care is now accepting applications for our 2026 Boston Marathon team. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to both their training and their fundraising goals. This is your chance to join the less than .1% of the population who have run a marathon, while helping us build a community in which every person is respected, valued, supported, and companioned when navigating serious illness or loss. As a member of Team Good Shepherd you'll receive comprehensive support from our organization, including fundraising guidance, training tips and group runs, and the camaraderie of fellow runners who share your commitment to our cause.

Participants will explore the philosophy of hospice, which emphasizes dignity, comfort, and quality of life, while also gaining an overview of the wide range of services and benefits available to patients and families. The session will cover hospice eligibility requirements, payment options, and how hospice care supports both individuals and their loved ones throughout the end-of-life journey.
