About the Pediatric Celebration of Remembrance:
The Celebration incorporates music, readings and poetry, and remembrance activities in a service held to honor all the pediatric patients we have cared for since the inception of the Pediatric Palliative and Pediatric Hospice programs. Families who have experienced pediatric loss outside of the Pedi Pal program are also invited to attend. Families are invited to connect with one another and care team members through conversation, refreshments, and light bites.
As part of the celebration, we acknowledge the names of patients who have passed away under our care and other significant pediatric losses of families currently on Pedi Pal services. All family, friends, and community members are invited to attend.

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Drew Gilpin Faust, historian, trailblazing first woman president of Harvard, and author of Necessary Trouble: Growing Up at Midcentury. In this deeply personal memoir, Faust reflects on coming of age in the South during the civil rights and antiwar movements—moments of upheaval and transformation that echo powerfully in today’s political climate. As democracy is tested, rights are debated, and activism surges anew, Faust’s story reminds us that young voices—and necessary trouble—can shape the future. Don’t miss this chance to hear from one of the most influential scholars of our time as she connects the past to our urgent present.
Wine and cheese will be served and Dr. Faust will do a book signing following the conversation.
Sponsored by Good Shepherd Community Care
Good Shepherd Community Care is thrilled to partner with the Rokes family once again to host the 2025 Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Camp Erin Boston.
As we gear up for this year’s tournament, we remain committed to delivering a top-tier experience while raising the critical funds that make Camp Erin Boston possible. Did you know that our camp is entirely funded by private donors and foundations? Every camper attends at absolutely no cost to their family, and with shifts in grant and corporate funding, your support is more important than ever!
To continue providing an exceptional tournament experience while supporting our mission, we’ve made a small adjustment to ticket pricing this year due to rising costs in venue fees, supplies, and essential services. But thanks to donors like you, we can keep this beloved event thriving and make an even bigger impact on children who are grieving.
If you have any questions about ticket pricing or the event, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We truly appreciate your continued support and can’t wait to see you on the course for another amazing day of golf and giving back!
