Our Annual Institute Dinner has become the signature community-wide event on serious illness and grief-related issues, featuring world-renowned keynote speakers that encourage conversations about understanding, quality, and compassionate care.
This year’s theme, Bearing Witness: What Hospice Teaches Us About Community, Compassion, and Care, reflects the heart of our mission. Our featured speaker, Dr. Katherine Gergen Barnett, a nationally recognized physician and health equity leader, will explore how compassion, trust, and community can transform the patient and family experience, and guide us toward a more humane and just health care system.
Your connection to Good Shepherd Community Care is deeply meaningful to us. Whether through personal experience, your support of our mission, your leadership in the community, or your role as one of our valued partners in care, you understand the importance of care that honors dignity, comfort, and human connection. For those who have experienced our care firsthand, joining the Host Committee, either in memory or in honor of a loved one, can be a meaningful way to express gratitude while helping ensure that other families receive the same compassion and support.
